Word of the Week — Argute

For all you language lovers, each Friday I’ll be sharing a wonderfully weird word and its meaning.

This week’s word is ARGUTE. It’s a late 16th century adjective that means “shrewd”.

That was quite the argute move Henry made last night at checkers.
